Public forums are scheduled for community members to meet and provide input on four finalists vying to be the Clarkston School District’s next superintendent.
The events run 6 PM to 7 PM Wednesday and Thursday in the boardroom of the Clarkston School District Office on Chestnut Street.
Wednesday’s forum is with Middleton Idaho School District Superintendent Josh Middleton and Almira Washington School District Superintendent Shauna Schmerer.
Thursday’s forum includes Mead Washington School District Assistant Superintendent Jared Hoadley and Kettle Falls Washington School District Superintendent Thaynan Knowlton.
The candidates are looking to succeed Tim Winter, who left Clarkston to become superintendent of the South Kitsap School District in western Washington. (Lewiston Tribune)
