LCSC offering free disposal of medications this week

Leiws-Clark State College is offering three opportunities this week for free, safe disposal of unused or expired pharmaceuticals.

Prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, supplements and pet medication will be accepted. Items that won’t be accepted include syringes, liquids, needles or inhalers.

Drop-offs are:

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m.Wednesday at the Lewis-Clark State College library parking lot in Lewiston.  Friday and from noon to 4 p.m at the Library parking lot. And Saturday at the REACH booth at Art Under the Elms, also at LCSC.

Anyone wishing to participate should cross out personal information, but not remove labels or information. No refunds will be given.
