No one was seriously injured in a gas explosion Saturday afternoon at the Idaho Fish and Game’s officer residence in Powell.
Fish and Game says the agency-owned residence had a propane system, and the explosion occurred just after 5 PM during the final move out of belongings after the retirement of the resident conservation officer.
None of the three people present at the time of the incident sustained major injuries, though the individual standing on the front porch received treatment for minor injuries in Missoula.
The residence was a total loss, and the incident remains under investigation. (IDFG)
