Greencreek sisters bound over to district court for alleged murder-for-hire plan

murder-for-hire

Two sisters form north-Central Idaho charged with attempting to hire someone to kill their neighbor have been bound over to District Court in Grangeville.

50-year-old Debra Wensman and 46-year-old Doris Wensman, of Greencreek, were arrested last month after allegedly offering to pay an undercover law enforcement officer money, guns, and ammunition to kill their neighbor. The officer investigated after a delivery man told authorities the two women previously offered to pay him to carry out the deed.

Both defendants posted separate bonds of $100,000 shortly after their arrests, and are scheduled to enter pleas later this month.

Doris Wensman faces an additional felony charge for allegedly soliciting murder from the delivery man. Her preliminary hearing on that matter is scheduled for next week.   (Lewiston Tribune)
