Shopko will close its Pullman store, along with over 100 other locations, as the discount department-store chain files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The Lewiston and Orofino locations will remain open, but Pullman will close its doors April 15th. The news of the closure comes less than two months after the department store’s pharmacy closed. The company closures affect a total of 105 stores, including 40 Shopkos. Seven other stores will close throughout the Pacific Northwest, including in Spokane and Boise.

Shopko plans to relocate more than 20 optical centers to freestanding locations, and it will conduct an auction process for its pharmacy business.   (Idaho Statesman, Lewiston Tribune)
