The Asotin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted arson on Florence Lane in the Clarkston Heights.
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday. The man involved in the altercation reportedly threatened to burn a house down before fleeing the area on foot.
Evidence at the scene and witness accounts indicate the 45-year-old unidentified man dumped gasoline on the side of the residence before being chased away. (Asotin County Sheriff’s Office)
