A Lenore man faces aggravated assault charges after allegedly shooting at a female motorist in the Lewiston Orchards.
37-year-old Andrew Ingram was arrested Tuesday morning after a woman called 9-1-1 about a car tailgating her and the sound of a gunshot near 13th Street and 11th Avenue just before 9 AM. The woman was directed to drive to the Lewiston Police Department, where a bullet hole was found in the rear of the woman’s vehicle.
The suspect fled and was taken into custody in Lenore.
Authorities say Ingram shot at the vehicle once with a pistol, causing no injuries. Ingram was apparently targeting the woman to whom he was familiar, and was reportedly upset over a family issue.
