Clarkston’s Lincoln Middle School and Heights Elementary were evacuated at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday due to a bomb threat at Lincoln Middle School, according to Clarkston School District officials.
Students were taken to Life Center Church, 2377 Appleside Blvd., where parents or guardians picked them up.
Students not picked up by 1:30 p.m. were taken home by bus.
School and law enforcement officials initiated bomb threat protocols and the building was cleared for re-entry at 2:00p.m. – however students were not allowed to return to retrieve personal items and will have to collect them when schools resume classes Thursday.
