A Lewiston man died after accidentally shooting himself in a hunting accident Sunday morning south of the city.
The Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Ryan Rigney was hunting near Soldiers Meadow Lake when he accidentally discharged his gun just after 7:30 AM. Deputies say the investigation is continuing but the death appears to be an accidental gunshot.
