A Latah County jury has found a Lewiston man guilty of first-degree murder.

56-year-old Patrick Nuxoll was convicted Wednesday of fatally stabbing and slashing his friend David Cramer nearly 130 times at Nuxoll’s Lewiston home in May 2015.

Nuxoll reportedly called 911 after he awoke to find Cramer covered in blood and lacerations. The two had been drinking together earlier in the evening.

The trial was moved to Latah County after attempts to seat an unbiased jury in Lewiston failed.

Nuxoll faces up to life in prison when he is sentenced.  A scheduling conference to determine a sentencing date has been set for November 7th.  (Lewiston Tribune)
