The candidates for Washington’s 5th Congressional District seat are scheduled to debate twice in the next 48 hours in Spokane.
Republican U.S. Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Democratic challenger Lisa Brown appear on stage at the Fox Theater Wednesday night in a televised debate hosted by Greater Spokane Incorporated and moderated by KXLY anchor Nadine Woodward. The event airs live on KXLY-TV beginning at 7 o’clock.
A second debate is scheduled to take place Thursday afternoon at the Spokane Club, and will be livestreamed on Facebook in partnership with KSPS-TV. Thursday’s event is scheduled to begin at 12:20 PM.
The two debates will be the second and third contests between McMorris Rodgers and Brown, following an event last month in Spokane.
A fourth debate is scheduled for October 24th at the Walla Walla Chamber of Commerce. (Spokesman-Review)
