Frontier Conference basketball coaches pick LC men 2nd, women 5th

The Lewis-Clark State men’s basketball team has been picked to finish second in the Frontier Conference according to the pre-season coache’s poll. 

The Warriors received 3 first-place votes and tallied 30 total points – three points fewer than league favorite Rocky Mountain. 

Meanwhile, the LC women were picked to finish 5th in the 7-team league. The Warriors received 20 points – one fewer than Rocky Mountain. The Carroll College women are the favorite to repeat as the conference champions and Montana Western, who advanced to the national semi-final round a year ago was picked 2nd. 

Both LC teams open their seasons October 19th – through the 21st, as part of LC’s Homecoming Celebration. The Warrior women host Yellowstone Christian in a two-game set Friday and Saturday, while the LC men host a pair of games against Northwest Indian College Saturday and Sunday.  (KOZE Sports)
