A new sexual misconduct complaint has been filed against former Washington State University quarterback Jason Gesser.

On Monday, the Washington State University Office for Equal Opportunity received an accusation of the misconduct against Gesser who is an assistant director for the Cougar Athletic Fund, which raises money for WSU sports teams.

University officials say this is the first time an individual who was directly involved in an alleged incident has filed a formal complaint against Gesser. Last week Washington State University officials investigated allegations of sexual harassment against Gesser and found no violations of school policy.

In accordance with standard WSU practice and in consultation with relevant University officials, Gesser was placed on home assignment pending a full investigation of the allegations.

Gesser led the Cougar football team to the 2003 Rose Bowl. He returned to work at WSU in 2013. (WSU)
