After a dominant performance over the weekend, Lewis-Clark State Volleyball senior outside hitter Rachel Gregg was named NAIA National Attacker of the Week.
The Eagle River, Alaska native helped lead the Warriors to a perfect 3-0 weekend that stretched the team’s win streak to seven matches.
Gregg’s offensive dominance was a big factor in the Warriors’ three wins. She set a career-high in kills in both games on Saturday, with 18 in the win over 17th ranked Embry-Riddle of Arizona and then 20 against Medicine Hat College.
The Warriors open Frontier Conference play on Friday when they travel to Havre, Montana to face Montana State-Northern. (LC Athletics, KOZE Sports)
