No one injured as plane lands at Lewiston airport without landing gear

No one was injured when a plane landed at the Lewiston airport without landing gear Wednesday afternoon.

A Cessna 337 aircraft carrying a pilot and passenger was inbound at about 5:30 PM when the pilot radioed that the landing gear wasn’t functioning. The pilot landed the plane on its belly and safely came to a stop.

No fuel was spilled and no fire ignited. (Lewiston Fire Department)
