Two suspects in the murder of a Clarkston woman are each being held on $1 million bond.

Amanda Jones

Gabriel Mattingly

A Lewiston judge this week set the amounts for two of the suspects most recently charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of 32-year-old Sarah Warden, whose body was found near Winchester earlier this month.

Authorities last week arrested 30-year-old Amanda Jones in Spokane, and 43-year-old Gabriel Mattingly in Clarkston. Nine days prior, police arrested 24-year-old Cole Marcell on a first-degree murder charge, and he reportedly provided information that led to the identification of the other two suspects. His bond also has been set at 1 million dollars.

Investigators say the three took Warden to the Waha area south of Lewiston in early June to rob her of an $800 Social Security check. They allegedly cut and stabbed Warden multiple times and dumped her body at Mud Springs Pond near Winchester, where it was discovered about a month later.

All three suspects are being held at the Nez Perce County Jail. (Lewiston Morning Tribune)
