Authorities have recovered the body of one of four men who disappeared after their vehicle crashed into the upper Selway River in Idaho County last month.

The Idaho County Sheriff’s Office says the body of 22-year-old Reece Rollins, of Terrebonne, Oregon, was found Tuesday by a hiker near Cupboard Creek, about 6 miles upriver from Race Creek Campground at the end of the Selway River Road above Selway Falls.

Six men were in the SUV when it went into the river May 21st close to Paradise Camp near the Montana border. Two of the occupants escaped and made it to shore, while Rollins’ body was found some 43 miles downriver from the accident site.

The three other men remain missing. (Lewiston Tribune)
