All ten NAIA World Series teams will visit sixth graders at elementary schools throughout the LC Valley Thursday to promote reading as part of the “Score A Hit with Reading Program”.

World Series Tournament Director Brooke Cushman says one lucky student will be given a great honor at Harris Field on Friday night.
This year’s book is “Soar” by Joan Bauer. More than 750 copies of the book were distributed to area sixth graders and their school libraries in Lewiston, Clarkston, Asotin and Lapwai.
