The trial of a Lewiston man accused of killing another man is set for October in Moscow.

56-year-old Patrick Nuxoll faces a charge of first-degree murder for the May 2015 stabbing death of 63-year-old David Cramer at Nuxoll’s Lewiston home.

Investigators say Cramer was stabbed more than 100 times. The two men had been drinking together, and Nuxoll reportedly passed out. He said he awoke to find Cramer and called 9-1-1, alleging Cramer slit his own throat.

Nuxoll’s trial was scheduled to begin in March, but more than half of the 70 potential jurors were found to have a perceived bias toward Nuxoll, and Nez Perce County 2nd District Judge Jeff Brudie granted the defense’s motion for the trial to take place in Latah County.

The trial is scheduled to begin October 22nd. (Lewiston Tribune)
