Clearwater County District Court officials meet next week to determine the next step after a jury wasn’t able to be seated for the trial of an Orofino man accused of killing his infant daughter.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys on Wednesday agreed to vacate the current trial of Daniel Alldrin after three days of failing to impanel the jury.

The 28-year-old Alldrin faces a charge of first-degree murder in connection with the May 2016 death of his month-old daughter. Court records say the girl died from multiple organ failure resulting from blunt force trauma involving internal injuries and extensive bruising on her body.

Alldrin is being held on 150-thousand dollars bond at the Clearwater County Jail. (Lewiston Tribune)
