The Lewiston trial of a man accused of killing another man has been moved to Moscow.

56-year-old Patrick Nuxoll faces a charge of first-degree murder for the May 2015 stabbing death of 63-year-old David Cramer.

Investigators say Cramer was stabbed more than 100 times, and his body was found at Nuxoll’s home. The two men had been drinking together, and Nuxoll reportedly passed out. He said he awoke to find Cramer and called 9-1-1, alleging Cramer slit his own throat.

Nuxoll’s trial was scheduled to begin in March, but more than half of the 70 potential jurors were found to have a perceived bias toward Nuxoll.

Nez Perce County 2nd District Judge Jeff Brudie granted the defense’s motion for the trial to take place in Latah County, though a new trial date has not been set. (Lewiston Tribune)
