Idaho motorists can expect to pay higher prices for gas this spring

The American Automobile Association says Idahoans and motorists nationwide should brace for higher gasoline prices this spring.

Matthew Conde with Triple-A Idaho says gas prices are rising across the country, but few states are seeing an upward surge like the Gem State.

Idaho’s highest average price for gasoline is in Stanley at $3 per gallon, while the lowest prices are in Franklin at $2.56. Lewiston’s average price for gas is currently $2.74 per gallon, while Orofino’s average is $2.76 and Moscow’s average price is $2.83.

Triple-A predicts there will continue to be upward pressure on fuel prices, both nationally and in Idaho through the spring.  (AAA)
