Former Idaho House Minority Leader and Lewiston Representative John Rusche has filed his candidacy for his old seat.
Rusche, a Democrat, threw his name in the ring for the 6th District position Friday, shortly before the candidate filing period closed. Rusche served six terms in the Idaho House before losing a re-election bid in 2016 to current Republican Representative Mike Kingsley.
Rusche served for eight years as the House minority leader.
Meanwhile, Kingsley has filed for re-election. (Lewiston Tribune)
