No one was injured in a Lewiston house fire Thursday morning. Lewiston Fire Department crews responded to the blaze at a home in the 2,700 block of East Main Street at just before 9:30 AM.
Smoke was coming from the first floor of the multi-family dwelling and one person inside the home was able to make it out. Crews brought the fire under control within 20 minutes.
The building suffered extensive smoke and fire damage, leaving the house uninhabitable.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, though officials are focusing on an electrical issue as a possibility. (Lewiston Fire Department)
