Clarkston sets forum Monday on possible school bond

A public forum is being held in Clarkston Monday night to give school district patrons a chance to share opinions and ask questions about a possible second attempt at the recently defeated school construction.

Last month, the bond proposal won 51 percent approval, but fell short of the 60 percent supermajority needed to pass.  Clarkston School District administrators and the School Board are seeking input as they decide whether to run a similar bond again, and when.  The deadline for getting the measure on the February 13th ballot is December 15th.  Other possible election dates are April, August, and November.

Monday night’s question-and-answer session is set for 6:30 to 7:30 in the district office board room on Chestnut Street. (Lewiston Tribune)
