The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking information regarding the unlawful killing of a cow and calf moose last week.

Conservation officers say the moose were killed in the early morning hours of Thursday near the top of Coyote Grade Road east of Lewiston.  Investigators believe the two animals were shot from the roadway and only a portion of the meat from calf was taken.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Citizens Against Poaching Hotline at 800-632-5999 or the IDFG Clearwater Office at (208) 799-5010.  (IDFG)
