A Troy man and at least 20 cows were killed Sunday afternoon in a semi-truck and trailer accident on Nez Perce County’s Waha Road.
The Idaho State Police say Robert Parkins was pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger was hospitalized.
Parkins was driving his 1986 Kenworth semi-truck and trailer full of cattle north on Waha Road at just before 3 PM when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of the vehicle, rolling it onto its side and down an embankment. Both occupants were ejected from the vehicle.
The accident remains under investigation. (ISP, Lewiston Tribune)
