AAA: New vehicle infotainment adds dangerous driving distractions

The American Automobile Association is raising awareness about the distracted driving dangers that exist in new model vehicles with enhanced infotainment systems.

Matthew Conde with Triple-A Idaho says researchers at the University of Utah have concluded that the vast majority of infotainment systems tested generated high or very high levels of workload, or demand, for drivers.

 

 

 

Triple-A encourages motorists to responsibly use vehicle infotainment systems only while parked before driving.   (AAA)
