Arrest warrants have been issued for two suspects being sought in connection to a homicide earlier this week near Troy.
The Latah County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Keagan Tennant and 18-year-old Matthew McKetta are believed to be responsible for the death of 18-year-old Tim Reeves, a Pullman High School student whose body was found in a rural area off State Highway 8 Wednesday.
It was determined Reeves had died from a gunshot wound, possibly sometime Monday.
Authorities are searching for Tennant and McKetta, who are believed to also have stolen a pizza delivery driver’s car at gunpoint Wednesday night. The vehicle is a white 2002 Pontiac Grand Am with Idaho license plates IBX 8758.
Tennant, the son of a Pullman Police commander, is being charged as an adult and faces several felonies, including attempted first-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter, while McKetta is wanted on counts of failing to notify authorities of a death, and conspiracy to hide and/or destroy evidence.
The two are considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to contact local law enforcement at (208) 882-2216.
The public is cautioned to not approach either Tennant or McKetta and to call 911 if they are seen.
