Idaho Supreme Court Justice Robyn Brody to speak at UI panel

Idaho Supreme Court Justice Robyn Brody will headline a “Women in the Judiciary” presentation and panel discussion at the University of Idaho in Moscow Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

The free event, at the U of I College of Law courtroom, is organized by the Women’s Law Caucus and the University of Idaho College of Law.

Brody is the newest member of the Idaho Supreme Court and third female to serve.  Her speech will be followed by a panel discussion with U.S. Magistrate Candy Dale, Idaho Court of Appeals Judge Molly Huskey and Lewis County Magistrate Vicki Olds.

Panel members will address representation of women in the judiciary, the career path to the judiciary and the pros and cons of judicial elections.

Attendees will have an opportunity to mingle with the speakers during a brief reception in the law school foyer following the presentation.  (Lewiston Tribune)
