The Nez Perce County Fair in Lewiston will have its Sunday hours scaled back this year.
The fair board recently voted to close the four-day event at 3 o’clock on Sunday afternoon, rather than 5 o’clock, in order to alleviate some of the chaos during the event’s final hours. The time change is expected to help vendors, 4-H kids with livestock, and people who have entered items in the fair clear off the grounds.
The new closing time will be implemented on a trial basis, and the board will assess its impact as plans move forward. (Lewiston Tribune)
