The Lewis-Clark State College women’s basketball team moved up two spots to #2 in the latest NAIA National Top-25 Poll.

The Warriors are 29-1 and are the regular season Frontier Conference champions.

Undefeated Freed Hardeman of Tennessee remains the top-ranked team, followed by LC, Lindsey Wilson of Kentucky and Vanguard of California and Shawnee State of Ohio tied for fourth to round out the top-5.

LC is one of three Frontier Conference teams in the poll.  Montana State – Northern jumped three spots to #12 and Montana Western held steady at #20.

Meanwhile the Warrior men are receiving votes, but remain just outside the NAIA top-25.

The LC men open the Frontier Conference playoffs with a quarterfinal game against Great Falls Wednesday night at the Activity Center.  Tip-off is set for 7pm with live coverage on AM 950 KOZE and online at www.koze.com.

The Warrior women will host a conference semi-final game Friday against either #4 seed Montana Tech or #5 seed Carroll.
