A Lewiston man faces a felony driving under the influence charge and multiple misdemeanor injury to a child charges following an accident earlier this week.
35-year-old Josh Bedard was traveling north on on the 500 block of Miller Street Monday around 6pm with his five children in Lewiston when he lost control of the 1990 Chevrolet pickup truck he was driving, crashing through a fence and dropping some 6-feet into a yard.
Authorities say breath tests administered on Bedard at the scene allegedly registered 0.175 and 0.178 – more than twice the legal limit.
Court records indicate Bedard has two prior DUI’s since 2008.
Bond was set at 25-thousand dollars and Bedard’s next court appearance is set for January 30th. (Lewiston Tribune)
